Standardbred Riding Group (SRG) is a friendly HRCAV Club that celebrates the incredible potential of Standardbred horses in all disciplines. We are a passionate community of riders showcasing the versatility of this breed through inclusive and engaging activities.

Future Members
We invite interested potential members to come and meet us at a rally and/or event. Once you’ve had to get the chance to know us and decide if we’re the right fit for you, please complete the membership application form. Please note, completing an application does not guarantee membership. We have a review process to ensure potential new members will also be the right fit for us.
All Memberships are inclusive of membership to and insurance by the Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria Inc (HRCAV). Members may compete in any official HRCAV competition as a member of the Standardbred Riding Group Inc. Pro rata membership is not available however, members joining after 1st August are entitled to a 50% discount on the HRCAV levy and insurance fees.
Members may bring any breed type to rallies and social events. A standardbred (full or part) is required to represent the club at competitions. Please select one of the following options.


Current Members
We’re a very social club and love catching up with our members, friends and family – both on and off the arena. If you have an idea for a rally or social outing, we encourage you to share it.
Please complete the membership form and make payment before 31 October each year to retain active membership and insurance coverage

Rallies and Social Events
We hold a regular member event on the second Saturday of each month, called a ‘rally’. This is an opportunity to brush up on some skills or challenge yourself to try a new or harder skill. We have a mix of regular instructors and occasional ‘new and different’ activities (e.g. dressage/flat work, jumping, trail rides, obstacles). We have a combination of private and shared lessons depending on preferences and availability. And we have members at all levels from beginning to advanced, so we can pair you up with someone at a similar level.
